गोविन्द माधव जनार्दन दानवारे ।

नामाङ्कितं पठति नित्यमनन्यचेताः ।

विष्णोः परं पदमुपैति पुनर्न जातु

मातुः पयोधररसं पिबतीह सत्यम् ॥ ९ ॥

Ityashtakam Bhagavatah satatam naro yah,

Namankitah pathati nitya mananya chetah,

Vishno param padamupaiti punarna jaatu,

Maatuh payodhara rasam pibateeha satyam. 9

That man who reads this octet of the names of God daily with mind focused on reading, would attain the ultimate place of Vishnu, and would truly never , ever drink mother’s milk i.e will never born again and not fall into cycle of rebirth and death . 9
