Meaning of Mantra “Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murari “
“Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murari He Nath Narayan Vasudev”
Shrī: Literally means auspicious, and is used as an honorific title before names. Can also refer to Lakshmi, Vishnu’s consort, since her bija mantra is Shrim.
Kṛiṣhṇa: An avatar, or incarnation, of Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. He is the supreme being, the Atman, the inner soul, and is known for His radiant beauty, playful qualities, and transcendent flute playing. You attract everyone’s mind, so you should also attract my mind towards you and strengthen it in the direction of your devotional service.
Govinda: A name for the youthful Krishna. Literally, the lord of the cows (“go”).
Hare: Variously interpreted. Can mean “hare” as the vocative form of Hari, a name of Vishnu (of whom Krishna is an avatar or incarnation); also sometimes “hare” is interpreted as a name of Radha. O pain reliever! Take away my sorrows too.
Murāre: Murari is a name for Krishna as the killer of the demon Mura.
He: Pronounced “Hey,” similar to “Hey” in english, for addressing someone.
Nāth: Another of Sanskrit’s many ways to say “Lord.” You are God and I am an orphan. May the feeling of this orphan stay with you, O God.
Nārāyaṇa: A name of Vishnu, Supreme God, as the preserver of the universe. Or, as the ‘resting place for all living beings’ (“nara” meaning living beings, or jivas).
Vāsudeva: A name for Krishna, whose father was Vasudeva. Elongating the first “a” in sanskrit turns it into “the son of,” meaning that “vāsudeva” is the “son of vasudeva.”

Mantra For Lord Krishna To Grant Sweetness In Life
Shri Krishna Govinda Hare Murari, Hey Natha Narayana Vasudeva: Chant this mantra with complete devotion asking his grace to bless your life with the sweet demeanor of Lord Krishna.
This mantra is simply an earnest call to Krishna by His devotees. Whenever someone faces any problem he can call his Lord, his master as a child calls for his mother when in need. Call God earnestly by taking his auspicious names, cry for Him as a child cries for his mother. This is the simplest and easiest means and method to see God, to meet God, to feel Him, to be with Him. He is just waiting for our one call . Need is just to call Him earnestly. We call God just in the time of need. We want from God but we never want God.
We behave selfishly and not selflessly. God is our own. Rather only He is our real akin. We have just forgotten our original relationship with Him. His pious names just help us realise us our true status , our true self which belongs to God only. We realise that we are the part and parcel of God and we have to go back to Godhead , our original native place where we belong to.
By being engrossed in this material world and material desires we have entangled in the cycle of rebirth and death.
So start taking any name of God as soon as possible because it is the name of God which can liberate you from this cobweb of material world. Chant more and more and go back to Godhead where you belong to.
